Remebering
When shades of night are falling
I sit and think of you,
Remembering by-gone days
When all my dreams came true.

You came into my life
When love had passed me by,
Filling my world with sunshine
With a kiss; a touch and a sigh.

We had such happy times,
Shared many precious things;
Thoughts,dreams and desires,
Hopes on outstretched wings.

I often sense your presence
In the velvet dark of night;
Think I hear you calling
As I sit in the soft moonlight.

You are gone but not forgotten,
And though I still shed tears,
I thank God that He blessed us
With so many wonderful years
